Because people have not gotten over in their relationship are understandably stuck in the past. People who are observed to be living in the past are said to be still experiencing the pain from their relationships that have ended, or from missed opportunities, or traumatic events and other difficult incidents in the past.
Be reminded that the pain from the past that is left unchecked, will come back to haunt a person in many ways. In the end, you will be robbed of the happiness you deserve and which you should be enjoying in the present.
